Dear Patients
The following patients registered at Eastfield House Surgery will be eligible for a free Flu vaccine this Autumn:
- aged 65 years and over (64 years turning 65 before 31st March 2024)
- aged 18-64 years in a clinical risk group (as defined by the Green Book, Chaper 19 (Influenza)
- pregnant women
- children aged 2 to 3 years on 31st August 2023
- those in long stay care homes
- carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- frontline workers in social care setting without an employer led occupational health scheme.
We will shortly be inviting patients aged 65 and over to our clinic on Saturday 16th September. Thereafter, we will invite patients as listed above.
Invites will be sent via text message in the first instance, with a link to allow patients to book an appointment of their choice. Patients who do not have a mobile phone will be contacted via landline or letter. Alternatively, please call our reception team on 01635 41495 who will be happy to book an appointment for you.
Please note, we will NOT be offering Covid Vaccinations this Autumn. Further information on eligibility and accessing an Autumn Covid Vaccination will be provided in due course.
