Information for Patients regarding Wuhan Novel Coronavirus Infection

Following a review of the guidance on Coronavirus, the Burdwood Surgery wishes to advise all patients that attending the surgery may place them at risk. The level of risk varies continuously, however we know older patients or those with medical problems are more at risk. If you are unsure please telephone the surgery first. If you wish to reschedule a routine appointment to a phone call please contact reception. Thank you for your assistance.

If you have any of the following symptoms: dry cough, fever and/or muscle aches and have returned from one the countries listed on the link below or been in contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, please self-isolate and dial 111. Please DO NOT come down to the surgery.

Advice for Travellers

All travellers who develop relevant symptoms (for example respiratory symptoms, shortness of breath, cough, fever) however mild, within 14 days of returning or transitioning from the areas on the link below should not attend the practice, but should remain at home and immediately call NHS 111 for advice.
