Patient Notice – Staff Sickness and Appointments

Dear Patients

Unfortunately we are experiencing a significant increase in staff sickness at Eastfield House which is affecting our service to patients. In addition, you will be aware that our area has seen an increase in a newer, more infectious variant of Covid-19 and as a result we will be reverting GP appointments to urgent telephone consultations from Monday 21st December. All routine appointments will have to be rescheduled into the New Year.

Any non essential Nurse appointments will also be rescheduled to the New Year.

Please continue to use our website to send urgent messages to help free up our telephone lines.

We would like to apologise for the disruption to our service and for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding.

We would also like to thank you for your letters of support this year through what has been a very difficult time for so many. We remain committed to providing the best possible care for our patients.
