Clinics and Services

Carers Support

If you look after someone who is sick, disabled or elderly/frail, or who could not stay in their home if you were not there than we would class you as a carer.

It is important that carers get the support that they need and are aware of the services available to them.

Eligible patients will be contacted directly by NHS Screening Service and asked to book when this is due.

Our nursing team provides regular dressing change and wound check clinics for patients with ongoing skin lesions.

Joint Injections

Offered in-house by referral from your named GP.

Minor Illness

Where a referral to Pharmacy First Service is not appropriate, patients may be seen in one of our minor illness clinics.

Minor Skin Operations

Minor procedures such as removing skin tags, cysts, moles and warts can be performed on an ad hoc basis during a normal surgery.

You cannot book into this service directly and must be assessed for suitability and appropriateness by your usual doctor.

Ongoing Health Conditions Management

These are chronic diseases that require regular monitoring and treatment review such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart disease or combinations of these.

Pharmacist

Our in-house pharmacy team reviews changes in medication, liaises with pharmacies and reviews new patient medications.

Pharmacy First Referrals

If appropriate, you may be referred by the surgery to a pharmacy of your choice for treatment of any of seven minor health conditions under the Pharmacy First Scheme.

Post-Natal Checks

The 6-week post-natal checks for mum and baby are arranged by our administration team upon receipt of maternity discharge letters. One less thing for busy new mums to organise!

Social Prescriber

A Social Prescriber is someone who connects people to activities, groups or services within the community. They can support access to a range of services including housing, financial, loneliness, benefits.
